Nesta sexta feira (31/07) ocorreu a edição de 2020 do Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards. O evento, apresentado por Tim Minchin, ocorreu inteiramente em um estúdio, onde os convidados apareciam por video-chamadas.
A premiação da TV britânica, ocorre uma semana após o BAFTA TV CRAFT, quando foram premiadas as equipes que trabalham nos bastidores das séries. Os vencedores podem ser vistos aqui.
Além da homenagem a Idris Elba com o Special Awards, a cerimônia contou com as vitórias de When They See Us por Melhor Série Internacional e com The End of the F***ing World levando os prêmios de Melhor Série de Drama e Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante.
