Neste domingo (8/11) aconteceu a 27ª edição do MTV Europe Music Awards, a premiação europeia que contempla artistaS do mundo pop que foram destaque no último ano. Entre os indicados, um destaque especial para a “Mother Monster” Lady Gaga que foi a artista que recebeu mais indicações nesta edição (7 no total), destaque também para o grupo BTS e Justin Bieber (5 cada).

Seguindo a fórmula do MTV VMA 2020, neste ano o MTV EMA 2020 reuniu fãs e artistas direto de casa participando via live.
Apresentado pelas integrantes do girl group Little Mix com plateia virtual e troca de looks, o evento teve abertura feita pela rapper Doja Cat, que apresentou uma versão rock de seu hit “Say so” (assista aqui). Destaque também para a performance da cantora Alicia Keys, da latina Karol G, linda apresentação do cantor Sam Smith e do grupo Little Mix.
Entre os vencedores, destaque para a Drag queen Pablo Vittar que pelo segundo ano consecutivo levou o prêmio de “Melhor artista brasileiro”. A cantora Anitta indicada na categoria “Melhor artista brasileiro” não levou o prêmio mas foi uma das apresentadoras da noite, artista foi responsável por anunciar a categoria “Melhor clipe”.
