O GRAMMYs teve sua 65ª edição transmitida neste domingo (05/02), apresentada pelo ator, escritor e comediante Trevor Noah, a celebração reuniu o que há de melhor no cenário fonográfico, além de levar uma quantidade significativa de artistas pretos ao seu palco.
A premiação mais relevante da indústria fonográfica, foi um dos eventos mais comentados nas redes sociais e entregou grandes momentos como a consagração da atriz Viola Davis como EGOT e o feito histórico da cantora Beyoncé, que alcançou o título de maior vencedora da história do Grammy Awards, somando 32 gramofones.
Além disso, a brasileira Anitta marcou o retorno do Brasil à uma das principais categorias do evento após quase 50 anos, mas infelizmente perdeu o prêmio de ‘Artista Revelação‘ para cantora de jazz Samara Joy.
A edição consagrou ainda Kim Petras como a primeira mulher trans a ganhar um gramofone na edição americana do evento. Petras é de modo geral a segunda artista a conseguir esse feito, precedida pela brasileira Liniker, que levou o troféu na edição latina da premiação na categoria de ‘Melhor Álbum de Música Popular Brasileira’.
A cerimônia ainda celebrou o 50º aniversário do hip-hop em uma homenagem de quase 15 minutos, que reuniu gigantes do gênero no palco. Introduzida por LL Cool J, que entregou ao rapper Dr. Dre o prêmio de ‘Impacto Global de 2023‘, a celebração uniu Future, Missy Elliott, Lil’ Wayne, Nelly, Lil’ Baby e até Queen Latifah para homenagear o estilo musical.
