A artista mais indicada é Ariana Grande com 7 indicações incluindo “Melhor Artista” e o álbum thank u, next como “Melhor Álbum”. Shawn Mendes concorre com 6 indicações juntamente com Lil Nas X e Billie Eilish, entre os novatos incluem a categoria “Artista Revelação”.
Old Town Road, chegou com tudo mesmo, viu!
Essa edição também é marcada com a indicação da Lizzo e o retorno de Lana Del Rey concorrendo a premiação. Os artistas brasileiros também marcam presença nos indicados para a categoria “Melhor Artista Brasileiro”, entre eles estão Emicida, Kevin O Chris, Ludmilla e Pabllo Vittar.
A votação está aberta até 2 de novembro às 23h59min e o evento acontecerá no dia 3 de novembro no Centro de Conferências e Exposições em Sevilha (Espanha) e será transmitida ao vivo pela MTV em quase 180 países às 21h.
